With an Honours degree in Botany from Exeter University, and a research-based Masters degree in Ecological Botany from the University of Melbourne, Liz is an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who has taught GCSE and A level Botany, Zoology and Biology to generations of grammar school pupils. She has also taught Field Botany at Flatford Mill Field Centre, and Botany courses for Botanical artists to various Botanical Painting Societies (British and American),and at West Dean College, RHS Wisley, and the Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society where she is a Founder Member and the botanical advisor. In 2002 Liz gained a Diploma in Botanical Illustration under Anne Marie Evans and has since exhibited her work.
She is currently Chair of HCPFS.
