Jenny Malcolm

Born and brought up in South Africa, surrounded by its spectacular flora and fauna, Jenny has always painted and drawn and worked in inks. She is particularly fascinated by the Protea family and its historical links to the Cape. Jenny exhibited at the Kirstenbosch Biennale in 2006 and 2008 and one of her Protea paintings will be used as the iconic image for the forthcoming 2010 Biennale. She continues to work on the rare and endangered members of the Protea family. Jenny was awarded a Diploma in Botanical Illustration with Distinction from the English Gardening School in 2008.
