My first job was as a physiotherapist, which I gave up to be a full-time mum to my four children.
About 10 years (2010s) ago, my Mum and Grandmother encouraged me to apply for the diploma in Botanical Art run by the Society of Botanical Artists, as I have always had a love of botanical art. I completed that after three years and this year I became a Fellow member of the society.
A couple of years ago, on a week’s painting holiday in Edinburgh I met a member of the Hampton Court Palace Florilegium Society who encouraged me to apply to join. A few months later I was delighted to be accepted and last year submitted my first painting , which was accepted into the Palace Archive.
